Built To Keep Your Feet Planted
A good flat pedal comes down to a few important things: grip, platform shape, durability, and how your foot actually sits on the pedal. Both the Sage and Vortex use a symmetrical body with real concave, helping your shoe settle into the center of the pedal while evenly distributing support around your foot.
We also designed both pedals to stay thin, shed mud, and use replaceable metal pins where they matter most. The result is a planted, predictable feel whether you're cruising local trails or hanging on through rough, technical terrain.

Alloy or Composite. Pick Your Pedal.
Sage Alloy Pedal: Our premium option, built around a larger 110mm x 110mm platform with a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum body and 10 replaceable steel pins per side. More concave, more platform, and plenty of grip for aggressive trail and enduro riding.
Vortex Composite Pedal: The value-focused option with a durable composite body and 105mm x 105mm platform. Seven replaceable metal pins plus two molded pins per side provide plenty of traction in a lightweight, affordable package.
Both pedals were designed around the same goal: premium-level grip, durability, and serviceability. The choice comes down to the material, platform size, and feel you want underneath your feet.

Made To Ride. Made To Last.
Both Sage and Vortex Pedals are backed by Trail One's lifetime warranty, and every set includes one free rebuild kit per year for the life of the pedals. Replacement internals and pin kits are also available, because we'd rather help you keep a great set of pedals running than replace them.
For every pair of Sage Alloy Pedals sold, $1 goes to Sage Trail Alliance in Santa Barbara, California. For every pair of Vortex Composite Pedals sold, $1 goes to the Ocala Mountain Bike Association in Florida, home of the Vortex trail.
Great pedals should keep you connected to your bike. Great mountain bike products should help keep great trails around too.
